The difficult part is getting started. I guess I'll start with a little about me. I love working on computers (both inside and out). This year, I developed a new addiction (which still incorporates my computer addiction) - eBay! I have started out selling various items - mostly computer software and books, along with other odds & ends that come along (hence my store name - Bytes Books and More). My emphasis will be moving more towards mostly computer items. <br /><br />I have been having a blast searching for laptops to refurbish and resell. Needs repair? Time to bid! Missing parts? Time to bid! Untested? Time to bid! I'm willing to take a little risk. My odds are better than playing the lottery. :)<br /><br />I got my inspiration to come here today because I found a link on Google to "the best eBay listing ever", which was a listing of Pokemon cards. I found multiple Google links to this post, so many of you have probably already seen it, but it was so good that I am including it here, so everyone has the opportunity to have a good laugh.<br /><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:11&amp;item=130144061675">Pokemon card eBay listing</a><br /><br />Well, anyway, that listing led me to her blog, which prompted me to start my own. I know that this blog will not be nearly as entertaining, but I hope that it will be at least enjoyable.<br /><br />I would love to hear comments from other eBayers - sellers or buyers. Also, I would welcome any comments about my listings - good or bad. I'm always looking for ways to improve. Check out my store and tell me what you think. <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/Bytes-Books-and-More">Bytes Books and More</a> I am just starting out, so I am still building up my inventory, but at least my business is starting to grow, and I'm beginning to learn what sells and what doesn't.<br /><br />Is everyone as addicted as I am? I check my selling and bidding on my PDA while I'm having my coffee in the morning, then I go to work at my "regular" job all day. When I get home, I turn on my laptop to see what's been going on while I was away at work. By the time I get home, I'm going through withdrawal from not being on eBay all day. Well, I do check through my phone on my lunch break, but that's the extent of it. After all, right now I still need that job to pay the bills. :) Once I'm home, I'm on my laptop for hours researching, selling, bidding, shipping, etc.<br /><br />I'd love to hear from anyone else who as addicted as I am. I would hate think that I'm the only nut out there! :)<br /><br />Well, that's all for now.
